APC Ward Congress: Omala LG Council Boss Commends Adoption Affirmation Process


 

Omala Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has described the process adopted by leadership of All Progressives Congress, APC in Kogi State as the best approach.

 

He made the remarks while addressing members of the party in Abejukolo, before commencement of the ward congresses.

He said, “the declaration by our leader, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to go by affirmation makes the whole process seamless and result oriented”.

“The Governor in his magnanimity always remember people who worked for him in 2019. This is payback time. He has also taken the responsibility of paying the form fees for all the returning executives of the party across board. We pray GOD to bless him with the highest office in Nigeria”.

By affirmation he said, the Governor has directed only persons who left the party, deceased members and those who were privilege to get one appointment or other positions to be replaced, and the Governor’s instructions must be followed to the letter.

The council boss appealed to those who were not privilege to be on the list to wait for their turn, join hands with the new executives to be formed and should not let the process divide the party, rather makes it stronger and formidable.

Member, Kogi State House of Assembly for Omala LG, Secretary to the Local Government and Elder Arome Alfa formed part of the committee at the local government level for the exercise.

Representatives of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC who is the Electoral Officer (E.O), Mr. Liman Bala among other personalities were present to witness the process.
