AONN Tasks Stakeholders On Ensuring NV2030 Commitments For Vulnerable Children in Kogi.
Relevant stakeholders in Kogi State have been tasked to ensure that the NV2030 six commitments for vulnerable children remains a top priority and agenda that must be achieved in the State.

Association for Orphan and Vulnerable Children NGOs in Nigeria (AONN), Kogi State Chapter made the disclosure during a courtesy visit to the Permanent Secretary, Kogi State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
The visit was part AONN Kogi State Chapter’s celebration of the 20 years anniversary of the association, described social protection as a right and a must that must be enjoyed by all children who are vulnerable.
The visit to the Permanent Secretary was for the AONN team to discuss and strengthen synergies and collaboration with the Ministry towards improving the quality of living of vulnerable children in Nigeria.
This Mrs. Helen explained is geared towards contributing to achieve the NV2030 six commitment which cannot be overemphasized if a safe society must be attained.
On AONN impact in Nigeria for the past 20 years and referencing the NV20230, Mrs. Helen called on all relevant stakeholders to ensure that the NV2030 six commitments remains a National priority Agenda that must be pursued by the State.
She disclosed that all poor and vulnerable children have equitable access to and benefit from comprehensive social protection services.
She added that all vulnerable children are required to be healthy and well nourished, as well as safe from abuse, violence, exploitation and neglect.
She stressed the need for vulnerable children to have access to benefit from quality basic education as well as have adequate standard of living conditions.
In her response, Mrs Andi M.S., Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, assured of her Ministry’s partnership with AONN towards meeting the NV2030 objectives, said the present administration has remained resolved to provide social protection for vulnerable children.
