
QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman Consults H.E. Alhaji Hassan Eneape, Ankpa Elders and Party Leaders Ahead of Kogi East Senatorial Race

In continuation of his grassroots consultations across Kogi East Senatorial District, QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman paid a strategic consultation visit to H.E. Alhaji Hassan Eneape alongside respected elders and party leaders in Ankpa Federal Constituency.

The consultation meeting, which took place at the residence of Alhaji Hassan Eneape in Ankpa Local Government Area, brought together influential political stakeholders, community leaders and party faithful from across the constituency.
Among dignitaries present at the meeting were Chief David Ape, Dr. AY Baba, Ismaila Musa, Pst. Adukwu Ojodale, Chief Rufai Yahaya, Yahaya Abdulraman, Hakim Atuluku, Ahmed Attah, Dansebe Ibrahim, Prince Ademu Iyogbo, the ADC Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, Mr. Ibrahim Idris Haruna, former Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, Alhaji Isah Abdul, alongside several elders and political associates.

Welcoming QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman and his entourage, the Ankpa ADC Local Government Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Idris Haruna, described the consultation as a demonstration of political maturity, respect for elders and commitment to inclusive leadership.
He noted that engaging elders, stakeholders and party leaders remains critical in building unity and strengthening political cooperation within Kogi East.
Speaking during the consultation, Chief David Ape, a political chieftain from Ibaji Local Government Area, appealed to the people of Ankpa Federal Constituency to support the aspiration of Idah Federal Constituency in producing the next senator for Kogi East during the forthcoming primary election.
According to him, political fairness and equity demand that support should be extended to Idah Federal Constituency considering that Ankpa Federal Constituency had previously occupied the senatorial seat while Dekina Federal Constituency is currently completing its turn.
He stated that Idah Federal Constituency has not produced a senator for over twenty years and therefore deserves the understanding and support of the entire district.
Chief David Ape further described QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman as a competent, experienced and grassroots oriented leader with the capacity to unite the district and attract meaningful development to Kogi East.
Also speaking at the gathering, former Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, Alhaji Isah Abdul, commended QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman for his vision, intelligence and deep understanding of developmental projects and governance.
He stated that the quality of leadership being demonstrated by QS Aminu is exactly what the Igala Kingdom needs at this critical time, stressing that the district requires a representative with foresight, capacity and genuine concern for the welfare of the people.
According to him, QS Aminu possesses the leadership qualities needed to attract meaningful development, empower the younger generation and effectively represent the interests of Kogi East at the national level.
In his remarks, QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman expressed appreciation to H.E. Alhaji Hassan Eneape, the elders and party leaders of Ankpa Federal Constituency for the warm reception and opportunity to engage them in sincere political dialogue.
He stated that his aspiration is driven by the desire to promote unity, equity, development and effective representation for the people of Kogi East.
QS Aminu emphasized the need for leaders across the district to place collective interest above personal ambition, stressing that the future of Kogi East depends on cooperation, mutual respect and inclusive leadership.
According to him:
> “Our mission is to build a stronger and more united Kogi East where every federal constituency feels carried along. Leadership should be about service, sacrifice and the ability to bring development closer to the people. I have come to consult our fathers, elders and party leaders because their wisdom and support are essential in this journey.”
He further assured stakeholders that if elected to represent Kogi East at the Senate, his focus would be on human capital development, youth empowerment, education, agriculture, infrastructure and policies that directly improve the lives of the people.
Responding on behalf of the people and stakeholders of Ankpa Federal Constituency, H.E. Alhaji Hassan Eneape pledged total support and commitment toward the aspiration of QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman.
He stated that the people of Ankpa appreciate leaders who consult widely, respect elders and demonstrate genuine commitment toward the unity and development of the Igala Kingdom.
Alhaji Hassan Eneape assured QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman of one hundred percent support from the people of Ankpa, expressing confidence in his leadership capacity, political experience and developmental vision for Kogi East Senatorial District.
The meeting ended with prayers for wisdom, peace and political progress in Kogi East as stakeholders commended QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman for his consultative approach, humility and commitment to inclusive leadership.
