Ankpa/Olamaboro/Omala Fed. Const.: Group Pressures Comr. Onuh Edoka to Run for 2023 Reps Seat.


 

 

 

Another call has been made by critical stakeholders of Olamaboro/Omala/Ankpa Federal Constituency asking Comr. Onuh Edoka, Kogi State Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress to join the race for the 2023 House of Representatives Election.

The call to run is by the United We Move Movement of Olamaboro Omala Ankpa Federal Constituency, appealed to the State number one Labour Leader to throw in his hat into the ring to represent the people of Ankpa Federal Constituency in 2023.

The group in a statement issued to Newsmen and signed the Caleb Useni Atajachi, after its meeting on Christmas day in Okpo,, says the support for Comr. Onuh Edoka is hinged on his qualities, personality, achievements and other good gestures needed by a worthy representative, appealed to Comr. Edoka to accept the call to run.

The group described Comr. Edoka as a bridge, a rallying point in the constituency’s quest to have a people oriented representation, said his disposition to carry every shade of opinion along is what stands him out.

The group explained that for the purpose of having a loud voice in the National Assembly and one that would not be silent, but to help with enacting laws that would be beneficial to the people of Ankpa Federal Constituency, has informed the call for the labour Leader to accept the call.

The group disclosed that Comr. Edoka is the option considered, said since the constituency does not want to be in the disadvantage again, has narrowed down on Comr. Edoka as the most preferred candidate for the federal Constituency in 2023.
