Governor Yahaya Bello has been commended for the appointment of Alhaji Chogudo Sule Ahmed as the new Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly.
Iin a press statement signed and released by Idowu Aligu, the Chairman of the State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Malik Andas gave the commendation today in Lokoja.
Alhaji Malik appreciated the Governor for his free disposition towards the appointment of the new Clerk by the Assembly Service Commission constituted by the present administration.
He said the Commission waa honoured and remained grateful for being given free hands to operate in consonance with the Commission’s enabling law, promising that the Commission would continue to live up to expectation.
According to the Chairman, the gesture of the Governor in allowing the Commission to carry out its statutory role without any interference has shown his firm belief in the collective drive to develop all segments of the state.
Alhaji Malik on behalf of the Members of the Commission thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for the appointment, pointing out that the new Clerk is patient, highly principled and trustworthy Officer whom he believed would do well in ensuring the smooth running of the Assembly business.
He also appreciated the Rt. Hon.Speaker, Prince Matthew Kolawole, Principal Officers and the entire Members of the House for their steadfastness and unceasing support to the Commission.
