The Social Democratic Party Governorship Candidate, Alh Muritala Yakubu Ajaka has called on Nigerians to live life worthy of emulation, pointing out that living should be about service to God and humanity.
The SDP Governorship Candidate made the disclosure at the Funeral Service in honour of Late Madam Florence Awoniyi held at First Baptist Church, Ileteju, Mopa, Mopamuro LGA, Kogi State.
Represented by the SDP Deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon. Sam Ranti Abenemi, Alhaji Muritala described late Madam Florence as a shining example of service to God and humanity, expressed joy that the testimony shared about her life underscores her positive impacts while alive.
Alhaji Muritala called on the people of Kogi State to immortalize the late Madam Florence by upholding the virtues of selfless service delivery to the State and citizens, qualities the deceased symbolizes.
Alhaji Muritala urged the family the late Madam Florence left behind to take solace in the good works of their mother, praised Arc. Yomi Awoniyi for staying the course in quality leadership as witnessed when he served as Deputy Governor of the State.
Towards immortalizing the good works of late Madam Florence, the SDP Governorship Candidate announced a donation of the sum of N2m in support of the Awoniyi family for church development at the first Baptist Church, Ileteju Mopa.
