Ajaokuta House of Rep Member Attends graduation/prize giving ceremony of LGEA Primary School, Ganaja


 

… Advises Teachers to put in their best in moulding, development of pupils, students.

 

Teachers in public Schools in Kogi State have been advised to put in their best in the moulding and development of the capacity of pupils and students under their direct care and guidance.

The member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Rt Hon. Sani Egidi Abdulraheem, gave the advice today at the graduation/prize giving ceremony of LGEA Primary School, Ganaja in Ajaokuta Local Government Area.

Rt Hon Sani described teachers as very important members of the society, who have contributed tremendously to the all round development of the society.

Represented by a former Caretaker Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, Alhaji Ali Atabor, the Federal Lawmaker commended the Headteacher and other teaching staff of LGEA Primary School Ganaja for maintaining high academic standard and sound moral among its pupils.

“I have watched with satisfaction the conduct of teachers in this school for quite sometimes, with confidence, I’m proud of them. Year in year out, they have continued to produce brilliant pupils”.

” Just like I have always done for the Secondary arm of the school here in Ganaja, I will also extend same gesture to the Primary school, particularly by assisting the indigent to accomplish their educational pursuit “.

The Federal Lawmaker stated that the nomination of a Primary School teacher as running mate to the candidate of the ruling party in Kogi State, the All Progressives Congress ,APC, in the coming Governorship election in the state is an indication of the recognition accorded teachers in the state.

He implored teachers to constantly improve on their skills and capacity to enable them compete well in the contemporary society that is driven by knowledge and technology.

Rt Hon. Sani who said education is light, and key component in the development of any given nation, enjoined parents to give priority to the education of their children.

The House of Representatives member reassured the people of his constituency of his sustained commitment to pursuing programs that bring enhanced development to the area.
