Aisha Ibrahim Idris, Spouse of Former Kogi State Governor, To Be Conferred Giwa Matan Lokoja Chieftaincy Title from Maigari of Lokoja.
For her selfless and community services, empowerment of women and in her charity works, the Maigari of Lokoja is to confer a chieftaincy title of Giwa Matan Lokoja on Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim Idris, wife of former kogi State governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.
The palace of the Maigari of Lokoja in a statement said it has issued a letter of recognition and conferment, signed by HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi IV on behalf of the Lokoja Traditional Council, informing the wife of the former governor of Kogi State that she will be conferred with a title at a later date to be announced by the Council.
Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim idris, a leading industrialists, business woman, agriculturist has over the years provided succour to many communities, women groups, age groups by and large outside Kogi state, hence the recognition.
While accepting the offer, Mrs Ibrahim Idris promised to continue to affect humanity and society in all her endeavors.
