The people of Ahogede in Bariki ward of Okene local government area trooped out emmasse to receive Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere who visited the forum at their meeting place. The forum under the able leadership of Alh. Yahaya Karaku was highly organized having women, youths, and men groups well seated in their numbers singing and dancing in excitement.
On the entourage of Engr. Ohere included the Chairman of Okene LGA , Hon.AbdulRazaq Muhammed, the CWC Chairman Alh. Kashim Ihima, the Chairman of Ohere Political Vanguard, Prof. Avidime, and a host of others.
Alh. Yahaya Karaku welcomed the APC Senatorial candidate and his entourage to the forum, stating further that his members and himself are with the senator in waiting. He urged the senator to discountenance the rumor of disloyalty from him and his group.
Engr Abubakar Sadiku Ohere in his response said ‘this ward is my home’ and recalled the political history shared with Alh Yahaya Karaku, who he described as a leader of repute.
Further, he stated that this engagement is to further strengthen their relationship as there are still better days ahead.
“Our government under Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello has done creditably well and we are campaigning with that our performance. The Reference Hospital is there that will provide healthcare for the community and provide job opportunities. The network of roads, the University in Osara, the Ohinoyi’s palace amongst others”

Engr. Ohere further announced a 4M Naira donation to cater for people with challenges ranging from petty debt, payment of waec fees, and as an economic stimulus to market women. Also, 1500 pieces of clothing materials were given to women.
