After a Month In Kidnappers’ Captivity MD, AZECO Phamacy Regains Freedom

Pharmacist Abdulazeez Obajimoh, the Managing Director of AzECO Pharmacy, Okene in Okene Local Governnent Area of Kogi State, who was kidnapped about a month ago in Okene, has regained freedom from his abductors

A reliable family source who disclosed this to the Correspondent of The Reporters,an online publication in Lokoja on Saturday, said Obajimoh was released on Friday outside Kogi State.

The Nigerianpost recalls that the Kidnappers, who had earlier demanded N30 million ransom for them to release Obajimoh, rejected the N10 million offered by the family of their victim.

The source said though the Kidnappers stock to their gun on N30 million ransom and the family urged them to take N10 million,an unspecified amount of money was added to the ransom to secure the release of their relation from the Kidnappers’captivity.

 

The Nigerianpost also recalled that the first class traditional ruler in the state, the Adogu of Egayin,in Ajaokuta Local Governnent Area of the state, Alhaji Mohammed Odembe, who was also kidnapped on Okene-Ajaokuta road about three weeks ago has also regained freedom after the payment of ransom.
