The African Democratic Congress, ADC, held Congress across Yagba Federal Constituency on Saturday 13th November 2021. The Congress which was held in the 34 Wards across Yagba to elect officers that will steer the ship of the party in the three local governments of Yagba East, Yagba West, and Mopamuro, for the next four years.
The Congresses were conducted under the supervision of a three-man committee for each local government, led by the chairman of the congress.
While addressing the gathering Hon. Temitope Kingsley Ogga said all the Aspirants for different elective positions were duly screened. He further said the committee has the mandate of the ADC National Working Committee (NWC)of the party to carry out the exercise across all the wards in Yagba Federal Constituency.
The Committee submitted 30 names of executives produced from each ward across the 34 wards in Yagba. The ADC Congress was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere across all the wards. The Congress was also monitored by officials of the local government Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials.
Hon. Leke Abejide, Member, House of the Representatives, Yagba Federal Constituency, who also participated in the congress in his Ward, commended party members, INEC officials and stakeholders peaceful conduct of the congress.
He urged the elected members across the Wards to work for the progress of the party.
