The Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Mission on “States’ Preparedness”, which commenced on the 4th of April 2022, the World Bank treated participants to a Dinner Party yesterday, April 9, 2022 at the Federal Capital Territory to mark end of the week long activities.
The Dinner offered participants opportunity of cross fertilization of ideas and learning from the entire process.
Leading the Kogi ACReSAL contingent, Project Coordinator, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, received in audience, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello who was ably represented by his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja. Other members of the New Direction Cabinet in attendance were the Hon. Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye and his colleagues from the Ministries of Water Resources and Agriculture.
Chief Onoja who spoke at the event electrified the atmosphere with his power of rostrum command, making a memorable event for the entire dinerlites who felt the Kogi aura.
Other Dignitaries at the Dinner were the trio of Plateau and Nasarawa State Governors, The Kano State Deputy Governor was also in attendance. The Minister For Environment, Water, Agriculture and Country Director of the World Bank with his team at the National project office.
