About A Thousand Cattles rustled in overnight raid in Yagba West Communities.

In an over night raid, thousands of cattles have been allegedly rustled in Yagba West Communities of Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The communities that are said to have suffered losses in the overnight raid includes; igbaruku, Iyamerin, Omi, Akata and parts of Odo-eri.
The bandits according to some residents of this community, said the rustling was over the night till the early hours of the morning of Friday, was followed with heavy and sporadic gunshots.
According to a Tiv settler, Apeh Terse, residents of Omi and Samson Odole, who resides in Akata, amongst other residents who spoke from the affected communities, described the attack leading to the rustling as scary by the bandits.
Efforts to reach the Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer for comments on the situation, said the areas mentioned are calm from report but assured of further investigation, this is as fear has however enveloped other neighbouring communities in the area.
