Abdullahi Aminchi College of Advance Studies Sets to Commence Degree Program.

The Abdullahi Aminchi College of Advance Studies Funtua, Kastina State, has been upgraded to a degree awarding institution, the Nigerian post Newspaper has learnt.

Speaking with our correspondent recently, the Provost of the College,Dr Mustapher Muh’d (ALMISRI) said the College which was recently given the nod by the National universities Commission  ( NUC)
to Commence Degree Program,has so far given admission to over 700 students and more are expected to be admitted before the Commencement of the 2022/2023 academic Session.

According to Dr Mustapher, the College which is affiliated to federal University Dutsima, Kastina State, was established in 2013 and had initially offered Diploma Courses and post graduate diploma in Education, pointing out that, Courses that are to be offered at the Starts of degree program amongst others  were  , English language, Biology,Physics, Chemistry,Hausa , Library Science, Guidance/Counseling and Educational Management and planning, Computer Science,  and Integrated Science.

The Provost further noted, that the approval given to the College  to kick Start a degree program was a welcome development and a step in the right direction, Considering the level of insecurity and poverty which Nigerians has to contend with, adding that inspite of the proximity of Funtua and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, plying that particular road at times Could be a nightmare because of activities of people of the Underworld.

Continuing, DR Mustapher further   Stressed    that,                the Current economic hardship in the Country was another reason indigent students and the less privileged  from the vicinity will opt for the Abdullahi Aminchi College of advance studies Funtua, Kastina State for their Studies.

Dr Mustapher further pledged to remain Committed and dedicated towards Ensuring that the College becomes a Centre for academic excellence, discipline and a place where good morals are taught and learned for the betterment of the Country.
