A CALL TO SERVICE FOR HRH. ALH. DR. AMINU ABUBAKAR AS THE NEXT OHINOYI OF EGBIRALAND
The great people of Egbira Land is at the epoch period of crucial and monumental history once again, as the race to install a befitting King takes off in the land.
This is coming after the recent death of the Ohinoyi of Egbiraland, HRM Dr. Ado Ibrahim.
One of the illustrious son of the soil who has excelled professionally in his career, and rightfully recognized both home and faraway has been prevail upon by his people to come and serve the people as the next Ohinoyi of Egbiraland.
HRH. ALH. DR. AMINU ABUBAKAR OKENE is not stranger to royalties, as he has been honoured and crowned the Zana Ubandoma of Borno Emirate Council.
This is in recognition of his selfless services to the people, and his philanthropist nature which is well attested to by all who knows or ever worked with him.
His leadership trait is what paved the way for him during his active days in the service of the Federal Government where he rises to the top position before retiring to his his palace where he held sway as the chief peace maker, a quality the people needed to bring together all Egbira sons and daughters from far and near for easy administration and development of the land.
His Royal Highness can be said to be the most humble king who sometimes dines with those around him despite being a first class king, which is very rare anywhere in the world.
For somebody that has become a father to all, he makes sure he uses his resources toward the benefit of mankind by feeding the poor, sponsoring the education of the youths, clothing the widows, and throwing his doors open for everyone by always saying “My home is for all”.
A true definition of generosity who makes it a habit of always sharing palliatives long before government borrows the idea.
The kingship stool will be witnessing another great man who will continue the good legacies of HRM. DR. ADO IBRAHIM.
He is a perfect fit for the position considering his wealth of experience, and his nature of always trying to unite the people as a good ambassador of Egbiraland, and Kogi State.
Also noticeable, are his steep knowledge of Egbira culture and tradition, which of course he is going to be the custodian.
His educational pedigree is just a plus for his knowledge and views about life, which makes him the most easiest person in terms of relationship with Egbira people and other tribes that makes up the state. Such harmonious relationship is what is needed to foster unity among the dwellers and the citizens of the land.
As an industrialist with interest in various sectors, he will bring in the necessary connections and attract investors to tap into the enormous resources of the land, some of which are wasting away while many of our youths are jobless.
