Kabba/Bunu LGA Chairman Congratulates Kogi Monarch, HRM Oba Joseph Adebayo Ikusemoro JP On 64th Coronation, 100th Birthday
The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has congratulated the Olubunu of Bunu land, Paramount Ruler and Chairman, Obas and Chiefs in Bunu District, Oba Joseph Adebayo Ikusemoro JP, on the twin celebrations of his 64th coronation anniversary and his 100th birthday.
Zacchaeus, in a congratulatory statement on Sunday, by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Omofa John, praised the monarch for his unwavering dedication to the development of Bunu land and his selfless service to the community.
Describing the Olubunu of Bunu land as an exemplary father, the chairman said, “Oba Joseph Adebayo Ikusemoro deserves all the accolades for the impactful and purposeful life that he has lived, especially in the last 64 years of his reign as the Olubunu of Bunu land. He is an epitome of dedication and selflessness in community service.”
The chairman further commended the traditional ruler’s leadership qualities and his significant contributions to the progress of Bunu, stating, “Since ascending the throne of his forefathers as Olubunu of Bunu 64 years ago, Oba Joseph Adebayo Ikusemoro JP has displayed exemplary leadership in his domain.
“I commend his passion and commitment to the growth and development of Bunu land as paramount ruler and the Chairman, Obas and Chiefs in Bunu land.”
Highlighting the monarch’s role in fostering peace and progress in Bunu, Zacchaeus also lauded his development policies, adding, “The people of the Bunu district are lucky to have a dedicated, principled, and disciplined monarch as their paramount ruler.”
On behalf of his family and the local government, Zacchaeus extended his warmest wishes to the royal father, saying, “On behalf of my wife, Grace, and family, the government, and the people of Kabba/Bunu LGA, I congratulate the Olubunu of Bunu land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Joseph Adebayo Ikusemoro JP, on his 64th coronation anniversary.
“I also felicitate the monarch on the auspicious occasion of his 100th birthday.”
Praying for continued strength and wisdom for the monarch, the chairman concluded with a heartfelt wish, “As Oba Joseph Adebayo Ikusemoro JP celebrates his 64 years on the throne and also joins the Centenarian Club, it is my prayer that the Almighty God will continue to bestow on him good health, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for a continuous reign of peace and prosperity in Bunu land. He will witness many more fruitful years on the throne of his forefathers.”
