Sen. Ogbeha, Achuba, Engr. Wada, Inaugurate ADC in Kogi.
The North Central leader and Kogi State Coordinator of the coalition, Senator Tunde Ogbeha has unveiled ADC as the official coalition of the opposition party in Kogi State.
Just as the Coalition paid the glowing tribute to the immediate past President, President Muhammadu Buhari who died in the London Hospital after a brief illness on Sunday.
Senator Ogbeha who represented Kogi West Senatorial District on the platform of the Peoples Democratic PDP at National Assembly, explained that the coalition had already scheduled the programme before the news of the death of the former President Buhari filtered to town yesterday.
He pointed out that as mark of honour and respect to or the departed soul all other activities have been suspended shortly after the Inauguration of the ADC as the umbrella body of the coalition of the opposition parties in Kogi State.
He therefore ordered for both Islamic and Christian prayers for the repose of the soul of the President Bihari and prayed to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
In his remarks, Senator Nuhurudeen Abatemi spoke glowingly of the late former President Buhari, commended him for his unwavering commitment to the service of the nation .
He recalled when he because of his track records as Military Head of State in 1984, came back to join party politics in 2003, subsequently won the presidential election on the platform of the All Progressive Congress APC in 2015.
Others at the coalition Inauguration include Elder Simon Achuba, former Deputy Governor and Engr. Musa Wada, the PDP flagbearer in the last Kogi Governorship election.
