Democracy Day: Lokoja APC integrity group passes vote of confidence on Tinubu, Ododo, Karimi, Aguye
… Aligns itself with resolutions reached by Lokoja APC stakeholders.
The Lokoja APC integrity group has passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Tinubu and Kogi governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, this is as they praised and congratulated Nigerians for the nation’s 26 years of unbroken democracy.
Similarly, the group said in line with the resolutions reached at the last Lokoja stakeholders meeting, also passed a vote of confidence on the Senator Representing Kogi West, House Member representing Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency and all the House of Assembly members from Lokoja.
The group during the Press Conference applauded the Senator for Kogi West, Sunday Karimi, Reps Member Aguye Danladi as well as the Lokoja 1 and Lokoja 11 House of Assembly Members, Bin Ebiya Shehu Tijani, as well as the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Aliyu Yusuf respectively for the good works they are doing, urged they sustain their performance.
This APC integrity group was made known it Commendation and endorsement on Thursday in a Press Conference organized by the Group Coordinator, Mohammed Maikudu Yusuf.
The group mentioned that the president, State governor, Senator and House of Assembly member have performed wonderfully well.
“Our president has taken a great and decisive policies, though many under criticisms as is usual in our polity. But if he successfully completed the Lagos -calabar coastal road the impact will be massive to both human and capital development.
“We appreciate the governor for bringing succour to our local government civil servants and teachers, construction of Zango Zone 8 road. It’s impact on Lokoja economy is unimaginable.
The APC integrity group appreciated and appealed to Gov. Ododo on the sanitation and urban renewal of Lokoja as promised the people of Lokoja, assured his administration of the support of the group.
Senator Karimi’s, crave to serve is obvious, his human capital development, student bursaries and infrastructural development is worthy of commendation.
“Hon. Danladi Aguye, though a first timer at the lower chamber, but yet, has provided solar lights in our areas, empowered 60 staffs on his payroll.
“They also mentioned the impact both House of Assembly members from Lokoja 1 and Lokoja 11 have done.
Similarly, the group lauded the Commissioner for Water Resources Engr Yahaya MD Farouk, appreciated him for working hard to provide portable Water to the people of Lokoja.
The group said while the nation’s unbroken democracy may not be without challenges, expressed optimism of better years ahead.
