Kogi To Pay Leave Bonuses to LG Workers in June.
Workers in the 21 Local Government Areas have been assured of the payment of their 2025 leave bonuses in the month of June.
The assurances was made to the workers by the State Accountant General, Hajia Habibat Tijani Onumoko., who represented Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo while making a remark to mark the one year anniversary of Comr. Mohammed Sanusi as NULGE President and the unveiling of Comr. Tom Abutu NULGE House.
The Accountant General described the present administration of Gov Ododo as one that is committed to making lives meaningful for people working at the Local Government level.
The Accountant General praised NULGE in the State for their unity and Sense of purpose for the Gov. Ododo’s administration, urged them to sustain their support.
In his remarks, the Special Adviser on Labour Matters Comr Onuh Edoka, added his voice to the event, pointing out that the labour friendly disposition of the present administration, urged for the continued support of NULGE for the Ododo’s administration.
In his remarks, the President of NULGE, Kogi State Chapter, Comr. Mohammed Sanusi, said the impactful administration of Gov Ododo has remain rewarding for Local Government workers.
Also speaking, Comr. Gabriel Amari, NLC State Chairman, urged for the sustenance of the welfare packages in the State for workers, praised the Ododo’s administration for making local Government administration a priority.
