Hon. Danladi Aguye champions the completion of the Iluke/Aiyetoro-Kiri/Abugi/Eggan Road, bringing hope to his constituents.

Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye, Member Representing Lokoja-Kogi Federal Constituency, continues to drive development and progress in his constituency. Alongside Hon. Arc. Salman Idris member representing Ijumu/Kabba-Bunu Federal Constituency and Rt. Hon. Umar Yusuf Aliyu Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Aguye met with the Hon. Minister of Works, His Excellency David Umahi, to discuss and lobby the completion of the 79.16km Iluke/Aiyetoro-Kiri/Abugi/Eggan road project which was awarded in 2022 without adequate funding leading to the abandonment of the project.
This project has the potential to transform the lives of residents in both Lokoja-Kogi and Ijumu/Kabba-Bunu federal constituencies, boosting economic growth and improving infrastructure.
With a collaborative effort, Hon. Aguye and Hon. Arc. Idris are paving the way for a brighter future, having already secured assurances from the Chairmen of the House Committees on Appropriation and Finance for funding allocation in the supplementary budget and the 2026 budget for the continuation and completion of the road project.
