Lokoja APC leaders Resolves to throw weight behind Gov. Ododo, Sen. Karimi, APC in 2027.

The All Progressives Party Congress Leaders In Lokoja Lga have passed a vote of confidence on Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo’s leadership in the State as well as the effective people oriented representation of Sen. Sunday Karimi in the Senate arm of the National Assembly.

The leaders of Lokoja LGA APC at a well attended meeting chaired by it Leader, Alhaji Suleiman Baba Ali, in Lokoja also scored HON. AGUYE, Member Representing Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency and RT HON ALIYU UMAR YUSUF Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly high.

The endorsement by the APC leaders also covered the member representing Lokoja State Constituency in the State House of Assembly and the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu.

The stakeholders and the people of Lokoja Local Government added that they are comfortable with the leadership style of the Governor of the State, assured that they will continue to rally round his administration and support him and the APC in all subsequent elections.

The stakeholders added that the political future of Lokoja Local Government is paramount to the stakeholders, as such, throw their weight behind Senator Sunday Steve Karimi and his leadership style at the National Assembly, so far.

In a resolution after the APC LEADERSHIP, the stakeholders said the essence of the meeting was for the purpose of accountability, the bedrock of democracy.

The leaders unanimously said the elected representatives of the party are doing well, have not disappointed the party and their supporters since their election.

They however stressed the need to carry women and youths along in the scheme of things more than the current pace in appointment by the elected representatives to give them more opportunities at Local Government and Ward levels.

The leaders also tasked the youths of Lokoja Local Government to come together and be united for the development of the area, stressed that it only in a united front that they can bring the needed progress for the area, owing to the strategic location of Lokoja LGA to Kogi’s development.
