SSA Energy leads delegation on familiarization visit to Bassa Egbo Community drums support for Gov. Ododo

The Senior Special Assistant on Energy, Hon Isiaka Ibrahim Saliu last weekend led a delegation of Bassa APC stalwarts on a familiarization visit to Egbo community in Eforo Ward in Bassa Local Government Area where they drum support for the laudable administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The delegation which was led by the SSA on Energy, Hon Isiaka Ibrahim Saliu is made up of the SSA on information Communication Strategy, Hon Chris Ben-Kato, Bassa Council Leader, Hon Sekinat Adamu Laruba, Bassa Supervisory Councillor on budget, Abdulganiyu Musa, Bassa APC Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Akanya, Media Assistant to Bassa Chairman, Abdulmutalab Ali, first called on the paramount ruler of the Community, the Etaga of Egbo, His Royal Highness, Jibrin Shaibu where the leader of the group declared that the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has strategically placed Bassa Local Government Area for modern development.
According to Hon. Isiaka Ibrahim Saliu “the governor has demonstrated political capacity by appointing Bassa sons and daughters into strategic positions in his cabinet.” He stressed that “Bassa is among the first Local Government Areas that the governor has strategically placed for meaningful development in the state.”
On his part the Senior Special Assistant on Information, Communication Strategy, Hon Chris Ben-Kato said the people of Egbo are known for their truthfulness in politics. He thanked the paramount ruler, His Royal Highness Jibrin Shaibu and the entire community for voting APC in the last governorship election in the state. He called on them to keep supporting the noble administration of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the state.
In their separate remarks, the Bassa Council Leader, Hon Sekinat Adamu Laruba, Bassa Local Government Supervisory Councillor for Budget, Abdulganiyu Musa, Bassa APC Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Akanya and the Media Assistant to Bassa Chairman, Abdulmutalab Ali all applauded the paramount ruler of the community, HRH Jibrin Shaibu and members of the community for their resilience in believing in the APC led-administration in the state. They urged the community members to keep faith with His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s led-administration in the state.
In his response the Etaga of Egbo, HRH Jibrin Shaibu thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s Aides for the visit to his community. He said his community are peace loving people and have remained solidly in support of the Chief Servant of Kogi State His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.
HRH Jibrin Shaibu also the community is pleased with the appointment of Bassa sons and daughters into governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s cabinet. He pleaded with the state government to upgrade his stool in accordance with the Local Government laws on upgrading of chiefs in the state.
The visit was rounded up with an interactive session with the community leaders, youths and women of the community where they pledged their unalloyed support for the Chief Servant of the state, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration in the state.
