IWD2025: HAVE A DREAM, ESCHEW EXCUSES, DR. OGAJI URGES WOMEN.

As Women from all over the world, particularly, Nigeria Women,Continue to send their Goodwill messages, Words of encouragement and at the same time Charges to Women as regards to the theme of the International Women’s Day 2025, ‘Accelerates Action ‘ Step forward in Solidarity for Women, with focus on Women Empowerment, Health, Decision making, Leadership Education Training and more, the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Power Generation Companies in Nigeria, Dr. Joy Ogaji has also extended her felicitations, Goodwill message and Charges as well.
Speaking to our Correspondent in an exclusive interview in her Office, Tuesday March 11th,2025, on the theme, ‘ Accelerates Action, ‘ Step forward in Solidarity for Women, Dr. Ogaji said, Women must be assertive and make themselves available for leadership responsibilities in the Socio economic and political affairs of Nigeria.
She said though attaining leadership position in a Chauvinistic and Patriarchal society like Nigeria might be very difficult and Challenging as a Woman, she however, advice that Women should be ready to make sacrifice, avail themselves, look beyond excuse and overcome some of the religious and Socio-cultural barriers in the Society and attain leadership roles.
According her, as a Woman you must have a dream, have a guide, eschew excuses, and work hard towards the realization of that dream.
