Kogi State Government Lauded for Transformational Community Interventions
The people of Odaire-Okumehi community in Okehi Local Government Area (LGA) have expressed profound appreciation to the Kogi State Government for its impactful interventions in the provision of essential social amenities.
The commendation was conveyed through the Chairman of the Community Project Management Committee, Akpata Adejimoh Azimazi, in a letter of appreciation addressed to the General Manager of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA), Chief Momoh Dauda. Azimazi highlighted the government’s intervention, executed through the agency, as a significant relief to the community, particularly in the areas of water supply and healthcare.
According to him, the provision of potable water has drastically reduced the difficulty of sourcing water, especially during the dry season, while the establishment of a well-equipped clinic has greatly improved access to healthcare services for residents.
Similarly, the Principal of Okehi Community Secondary School, Oboroke, Mr. Otori Olufemi, commended the Kogi State Government for supporting the renovation of the school’s deteriorating infrastructure and providing much-needed furniture. He emphasized that the intervention would significantly enhance the academic environment, contributing to improved learning conditions and the overall welfare of students and staff.
Mr. Olufemi also expressed optimism about fostering a stronger partnership with the agency to ensure sustained development in the educational sector and the broader community.
The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, under the leadership of Chief Momoh Dauda, has remained committed to executing community-driven, government-supported development projects that improve the living conditions of citizens.
The recent acknowledgments from the Odaire-Okumehi community and Okehi Community Secondary School further underscore the government’s dedication to grassroots development and sustainable projects.
