Chief Momoh Dauda Dedicates Mayegun of Apataland Title to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo

The General Manager of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Chief Momoh Dauda, has dedicated his newly conferred chieftaincy title, Mayegun of Apataland, to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Chief Momoh was honored with the prestigious title by His Royal Highness, Oba Frederick Durojaiye Balogun, the Olu of Apata, in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the development of Apata land. The chieftaincy conferment was part of the grand celebration marking the tenth anniversary of the monarch’s coronation.

Speaking at the event in Apata, Chief Momoh expressed deep appreciation to Governor Ododo for providing him with the opportunity to serve the people, which ultimately led to this recognition. He emphasized that the governor’s leadership has fostered a spirit of community service and development across Kogi State.

“This honor is not just mine; it belongs to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, whose unwavering commitment to grassroots development has created the platform for people like me to make meaningful contributions. I dedicate this title to him as a symbol of our collective efforts to improve the lives of our people,” Chief Momoh stated.

The Olu of Apata, Oba Frederick Durojaiye Balogun, highlighted Chief Momoh’s outstanding efforts in community development, particularly in fostering social and infrastructural progress in Apata land.
