NAKOSS SYMPATHIZES WITH STUDENTS AND MANAGEMENT OF FUL, CALLS FOR A DEFINITE SOLUTION
The National Association of Kogi State Students have sympathized with the Federal University Lokoja, particularly students that lost their lives in today’s ghastly trailer accident.
The President of NAKOSS, Dr. Jeremiah Elukpo in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, called for a definite action to end the wanton killing of students on the Felele road.
“This accident is one too many for innocent children whose only offense is seeking to acquire knowledge to be gruesomely murdered in cold blood.
“We call on the relevant authorities to step up their game and end this carnage, enough is enough.
“NAKOSS therefore SYMPATHIZES WITH STUDENTS AND MANAGEMENT OF FUL”, urged for measures that would make this accident the last in history.
“We cannot continue in this manner. We are here to acquire knowledge. We call on the Federal and State Government to immediately find a lasting solution to end this killings of our students.
“We call for an investigation to seek the immediate and remote cause of the repeated reoccurrence as we can no longer fold our hands and watch our students die for no offense of theirs”, NAKOSS President said.
