IML: Hon. Shaibu Muhammad SSA Transportation Begins Sensitization Engagements With NURTW, TOAN, Okada Union Leaders.
Hon. Shaibu Muhammad, aka Container, Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo on Transportation has begun a sensitization of critical Stakeholders in the transport sector on the newly announced Infrastructure Maintenance Levy.
The SSA in a meeting with stakeholders in Anyigba and Lokoja, urged the NURTW, TOAN and Okada Unions to adhere to the new policy
The SSA described the IML as a win win situation for all parties, expressed satisfaction with the response by the leadership of the NURTW, Tricycle Operators and Okada Unions on the new law.
He Commended them for the initial acceptance of the law said he will intensify his engagement and sensitization with the Unions for them to completely buy in and cooperate with the present administration.
The SSA on Transportation praised Gov. Ododo for the several achievements of his administration, said with the IML policy, it will enable the State Government provide more raids and infrastructure.
