Remembering The “Nuclear Winter Theory” As The World Draws Closer To A Conflagration

Today, the world is realistically on a delicate edge akin to the extremely dangerous situation of the Cuban Missile Crises of 1962, when nations held their breaths as the United States and the then Soviet Union were on the brink of imminent Thermonuclear War, arising from when the Soviet Union under Premier Nikita Khruschev secretly deployed nuclear strike force in Cuba, just some 90 miles from the United States.
The emergence of BRICS as a counter global economic force to challenge several decades of American/Western economic domination, the terrifyingly dangerous scenario currently unfolding in the Russian-Ukraine war (which is a proxy war of the West against Russia), the Middle East conflict between Israel and Iran’s militant proxies, America’s threat hanging upon China over the sovereignty dispute between China and Taiwan, as well as the tension in the hyper-volatile Korean peninsula in which America is manifesting its vested interest; all combine to expressly attest to the veracity of the above stated fears.
A cogent and realistic fear exists that further escalation beyond the current critical state of affairs in the Russian-Ukrainian war could see the world staring at a nuclear confrontation between Russia and the West as Russia has repeatedly warned.
America and some western nations have recently given Ukraine the approval to strike inside Russia with western-supplied high-tech weapons as against the standing restriction to use such weapons only within Ukrainian territories where Russia is operating in. In response to this, Russia is already engaging in critical new manoeuvres against Ukraine involving Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, ICBM, capable of delivering nuclear war heads, while handing down warnings of a nuclear confrontation.
It is a well-known fact that the world nuclear power nations, particularly the two super powers of United States and Russia already possess enough nuclear arsenal that can destroy the whole earth with every life form in it several times over. Out of these horrifying stock piles of horrendous instruments of mass deaths and total annihilation, Russia has 45.4% of the global total nuclear war heads, America has 42.7%, while China, France, UK, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea share the rest. Iran which is locked in mortal enmity with the State of Israel is strongly suspected to have conducted a nuclear test on 6th October, 2024 under the fog of the ongoing Middle East war. On this date, Iran had shut down their air space from 9:00pm to 6:00am and cancelled all flights out and into the country while the University of Teran at 10:45pm announced a 4.4 magnitude earthquake; all of which are consistent with underground nuclear test.
Among these nuclear powers, Russia is reputed to possess the single most powerful nuclear bomb ever produced. This bomb, named: Tsar Bomba, RDS – 220 Hydrogen bomb, first tested in 1961 in Novaya Island in the Arctic Ocean has a 100 megaton capacity which makes it, 7,600 times the destructive power of the US nuclear bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima during world war 2.
Upon all these, escalations are still building up, and tension swelling, and each party is still updating their weapons among the contending powers.
There is obvious consensus among informed minds that if there occurs an all- out nuclear confrontation between Russia and America (with her western allies), such nuclear war will end in either of two scenarios, namely: either that the most advanced nations of the world are mutually annihilated under the doctrine of Mutual Assured Destruction, MAD, or that the whole world is annihilated through the nuclear winter theory as was propounded by the celebrated American Astronomer, cosmologist and astrobiologist, Carl Sagan, (1934 – 1996 ).
From the ancient time, through the contemporary era; diverse cultures, ancient religious bodies of both pagan and non-pagan persuasions, clairvoyants, apocalyptic prophets, planetary catastrophists, cosmologists, anti-strategic weapons campaigners, eschatological scientists, world apex secret societies, and all manners of prescient enquirers have all ventured predictions, prophecies or prognostications, either to the total and final end of the world or to a severe cataclysmic event that will destroy nations and much greater portion of the human population.
Among these, peoples’ minds will always solemnly remember the prophecies of the Holy Bible, the eschatological predictions of the medieval French Seer and Physician, Michael De Nostradamus, and those of the Hebrew holy books and ancient Jewish Rabbis, those of the Moslem mystics, the Qero Incas, the Hopi Indians, the Aztecs, the Hindu “holy” books, the ancient Mayans, the Buddhists and the Zoroastrians, the prophesies of the Roman Catholic Virgin Mary, the ancient Chinese Book of Changes – I Ching, the Mayan Long Count Calendar, the Doomsday Clock, and the Albert Einstein’s theory of the Vanishing Bee Colonies.
The renowned 20th Century Physicist, and the author of the celebrated Relativity Theory, Albert Einstein had propounded the Theory of The Vanishing Bee Colonies. In this Einstein had stated that “If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man”.
The Doomsday Clock was invented and maintained by the Board of Directors of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists at the University of Chicago, Illinois, since 1947. This clock was designed to monitor the destruction (end) of the world through nuclear explosions and other possible catastrophes. At present, the Doomsday Clock is reading 90 seconds before midnight, indicating that global destruction is imminent, even more than it was during the Cuban missile Crises. Midnight in the parlance of the clock is the hour of the end, though its seconds is not same as the normal clock seconds.
What then is the Nuclear Winter Theory? The American astronomer, cosmologist and astrobiologist, Professor Carl Sagan (1934 – 1996) and his colleagues, at the height of the cold war between the United States and the USSR made a research to discover the global impact of a nuclear war in which substantial nuclear weapons are exploded by the contending powers. The result of this study gave rise to the so called, Nuclear Winter Theory. And this theory/study described the immediate and long term destructive and climate change devastation that would result from a major nuclear war in the world. It talked of unimaginable, horrifying, and horrendous blast damage, unbearable intense fire, heat and horrendous radiation across endless landscape. The swelling massive dust, black smoke and fierce wind released by the gigantic explosion will together rise into the atmosphere and create a thick blanket above the globe, which then will block out sunlight/all source of heat and cosmic illumination thereby creating endless darkness and dropping the global temperatures to sub-zero levels, with the ozone layer totally destroyed, all resulting in endless fearful darkness, extreme cold, devastating harmful radiation, hunger, famine, mass death and eventual extinction of life on earth. And this horrendous, abominable climatic condition will endure for several years. This is the condition the global powers in vying for the ownership and control of the world they did not create are toying with, in mass killings and destruction and in insatiable greed comparable to that of cosmic black holes, appropriating unto themselves all the resources made for all by the creator.
But there is a God who made the Heaven and Earth, and who created man and everything on earth; the Governor of the nations, who watches over all. And He is the God who raised and crowned ancient Babylon, Persia, Egypt and Rome, and later brought them down. And so shall all the great and mighty powers and empires of man reign and pass away. Their ends may be close.
