Dr. Sandra Musa Hails Gov Usman Ododo for His Humanitarian Efforts towards IDPs
Dr. Sandra Musa,the Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA),has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his outstanding humanitarian services to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) within the state.
On October 24th/2024,Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo made a significant visit to one of the IDP camps.
He visited Adankolo IDP Camp,where he listened to the victims’ plight,particularly regarding their urgent need for electricity and water.
Following the Governor’s intervention,the Adankolo and Gadumo IDP camps amongst others,has since been electrified,providing much-needed relief to the residents. Each of the temporary rooms now has bulbs and ceiling fans, and a motorable borehole has been dug,greatly improving living conditions.
Dr.Sandra expressed her heartfelt appreciation towards Governor Ododo’s rapid response to the challenges facing the IDPs,stating, “I wish to sincerely thank the Kogi State Governor, The Chief Servant of the People,for his swift intervention and dedication to alleviating the hardships experienced by our internally displaced persons.His actions have not only addressed immediate needs but have also renewed Hope and Dignity to countless individuals and families.”
