… Appeals to Ebira Vonya Group to be patient, understand the working of office of CoS.

Hon. Yusuf Baba Mohammed (Yussuff Bonanza) and Hon. Godfrey Adekoye (stakeholder) have called on Youth groups in the State to think about development of the State rather than issues that would overheat the polity.

The duo made the disclosure in a statement to register their displeasure at efforts to drag the name of the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Government, Alhaji Ali Bello into unnecessary controversy.

While they appreciate the good people of Ebira Vonya for always wanting a good standard for Ebira nation and Kogi state in general, lamented that their recent social media misinformation about the Chief of Staff is not true, they described the Chief of Staff as a thorough breed administrator who knows his onions.

While pointing out that the Ebira Voyan group want progress, peace, and unity in the State, called on the group to exercise patient, pointing out that the Chief of Staff is a work in progress.

They described the Facebook posting concerning Alhaji Ali Bello the Chief of Staff to His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo the Executive Governor of Kogi State on his activities as Chief of Staff by the group as unfortunate, pointing out that the young man can best be described as another opportunity for youths to build on the legacies Youths of the State have enjoyed over the years.

“We want to start by saying that everybody’s style of governance or doing things can never be the same. There are people who do things openly while others do the same thing calmly, but both of them can still achieve the same result”, pointing out that looking at the achievements made thus far by youths of the State, the Chief of Staff needs commendation to enable him to do more.

“In the last government of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Chief Ali Bello was actively involved behind the seen when he brought many initiatives that has impacted the society which was the reason we saw many people oriented projects across our state but he does all this without been announce because he enjoyed working behind the scene”.

“You will agree with me that in the second tenure of last government, he was personally supervising projects that have come to see the light of the day before the end of the tenure. Which I believe is the solid reason His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo picked him as his CoS”.

“His achievements since he resumed office are so many. But worthy to note is the way he created a channel for many youths and women to be involved in this government”.

“Many youths and women have been engaged by him to see how the government will be closer to the people like never before”.

“This government has created local government Special Assistants and Ward Special Assistants, which are mostly youths and women. The local government election coming soon has youths and women, and the involvement of Chief Alhaji Ali Bello can not be denied”.

“CoS has helped many people in paying their school fees and medical expenses, which he loves doing secretly”.

“He has tried to unite East, Central, and West of the state together that looking at things now, we can boldly say that the next election of His Excellency will a smooth ride”.

“Chief Alhaji Ali Bello understood his role as Chief of Staff, which is to support his principal to achieve his goals, and for the eight months of this government, we can all testify that the government is focused”.

While pointing out that the office of the Chief of Staff is not to outshine it master the Governor, Bonanza and Hon Godfrey called on the Group to be patient as very soon the efforts of the Chief of Staff would be made known to them, through dividends of democracy getting to their doorsteps.
