SUPREME COURT VICTORY: NULGE KOGI STATE CHAPTER CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR ODODO
… Says your victory is for local Government workers.
The President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Kogi State Chapter,
Comr. Sanusi Mohammed has on behalf of the members of the union sent a hearty congratulations to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo on his well deserved victory at the Supreme Court.
The President of NULGE described the victory of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo at the Supreme Court as victory for Local Government workers, pointing out that the local Government have never had it so good like they are presently doing.
The NULGE President in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja described the victory as one for the workers at the Local Government Areas of Kogi State, pointing out that Gov. Ododo is God sent, have come to wipe away their long years of suffering.
The NULGE President said the affirmation by the Supreme Court, would enable the Governor continue with his good works pointing out that the several levels of litigation was a distraction and set back for the State.
” We in NULGE heartily and warmly congratulate Your Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the reaffirmation of his mandate by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
“Your Excellency, the Supreme Court’s pronouncement is not only an affirmation of the popular choice of the people of Kogi State as freely expressed on 11th November, 2023, it is also a final seal on the affirmation of your mandate as unanimously declared by the electoral petition tribunal and the appeal court.
“With the needless distractions over, we in the Local Government Areas are much confident that your impressive performance within the short period as attested to in all the nooks and crannies of the State, will even translate into a more historic and unprecedented transformation of our dear State.
“We pray that God in His infinite mercy will continue to guide and protect you as you work tirelessly to provide good governance for the State.
“Once again, your Excellency, please accept our heartfelt felicitations and our personal best wishes on this well-deserved victory from Kogi State NULGE”.
