APC Calls On Security Agencies To Rein On Speaker Agbebaku Violent Politics

As the September 21, 2024 governorship election draws closer in Edo State, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has raised an alarm over the actions of Blessing Agbebaku, speaker of Edo State House of Assembly.
In a release signed by Comrade Orobosa Omo-Ojo , Director of Publicity of the All Progressives Congress Edo Governorship Campaign Council, and made available to journalists in Benin City, said, We have received several reports of wanton intimidation and violent actions exhibited by Agbebaku, directly and sponsored.
OmO-Ojo stated that, the action of Agbebaku against Chief Lucky Ohimai, a chieftain of the party in Owan East Local Government Area, is becoming on bearing.
According to him, “the Speaker is angry that Chief Ohimai’s philanthropic activities in Owan East has liberated the people from the People’s Democratic Party’s ruinous bad governance”.
Adding that, “APC has taken note of the outright despicable falsehood made by the blurry speaker Blessing Agbebaku against Chief Ohimai and the party shall respond appropriately. ”
“we call on the Commissioner of Police, State Security Service to timeously arrest him before he succeeds with his dastardly violent plans. ” He concluded.
