
‘Edo North People ‘ve Collectively Agreed To Vote For Monday Okpebholo Of The APC’-Momoh

The Minister for Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Abubakar Momoh, has said the people of Edo North Senatorial District have collectively agreed that Monday Okpebholo of the APC should be given the vote come September 21.
Momoh spoke in Igueben, the Headquarter of Igueben local government area of Edo state when the party , APC, went on a ward to ward campaign.
According to him, ” If Edo North and Edo South have agreed to vote for the APC candidate , why will Edo Central that brought the candidate not vote for him.’ he questioned.
The Director General of All Progressive Congress Campaign Council, Matthew Urhokhide said the people of Edo South and Edo North chose Monday Okpebholo because, the Esan people have already chosen him.
Urhokhide stated that , since the Edo Central Senatorial District people find Okpebholo worthy and voted for him a year ago as a senator ,it then means that he is of a good product, hence we closed as our candidate. So the two other Senatorial District decided that since is the turn of Esan people we have to support to.”he stated.
On his part, Senator Monday Okpebholo expressed optimism that the September 21st governorship election is a win win for the APC, stating that Edo State is not for sale.
Okpebholo said, governor Godwin Obaseki want to sell Edo state to his business partner, Asue Ighodalo, hence he is bringing him as the candidate of the PDP .
Okpebholo further promised to empower women and youths in the state and creating an enabling environment for small and medium scale businesses to thrive .
He also promised to provide Primary Health Centre (PHCs) in the 192 wards in the state as well as support the health workers that will work in the health centres.
Also speaking during the Ward to Ward Campaign,a former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, said that if Asue Ighodalo of PDP is voted for it is Obaseki that will still be ruling.
According to him, it means Edo citizens will continue in this hardship, so we need to give our vote to APC so that things will change for the better.
On his part , the Cordinator of APC campaign council in Edo Central Senatorial District, Hon. Odianosen Okojie appealed to the party supporters to come out emmase on September 21 to cast their vote for the APC.
He assured the electorates that immediately Okpebholo is elected, and the dividends of democracy will be given to Edo people.
Okpebholo, along with Oshiomhole, Ize-Iyamu, Matthew Urhoghide, and other campaign members, commissioned a Bole hole donated by the APC governorship candidate to Iruekpen community in Edo Central Senatorial District of the state.
