EID EL KABIR: KOGI SEMA BOSS, ALH MOUKTAR ATIMAH GREETS MUSLIMS

The Executive Secretary State Emergency Management Agency, Alh Mouktar Atimah, has congratulated all the Muslim Ummah in Kogi State, Nigeria and the world on the successful celebration of Eid-ul-Adha.
He called on Kogites to put the interest of the State above personal interests and use religion as a motivation for the love of our common humanity.
In his Sallah message to Kogi Muslims and other citizens, he urged them to rally support for our workaholic Governor to succeed by “consolidating on the good work of his predecessor” in leading Kogi State on the path of sustainable development.
The SEMA Boss assured that the Administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is committed to safeguarding the lives and property of all Kogi residents.
According to him, all Muslims need to reflect on the significance of the sacrifice epitomised by Eid-ul-Adha. We should show love to our neighbours while celebrating this spiritually important event.
The story of prophet Ibrahim (A.S) that led to this sacrificial celebration teaches us the virtues of patience, obedience and reliance on Allah, and the strength that comes with the ultimate faith. He added.
He also, appealed to all Kogites to support the less previlleged in the society.
