An Abuja based Real Estate Developer, Mr. Olayinka Braimoh has emerged as the Flag Bearer of the Action Alliance (AA) for the November 11th Governorship election in Kogi State.
Announcing the results at the Primary election held at Reverton Hotel Lokoja, the Chairman of Kogi State AA Electoral Committee, James Benebe said Mr. Braimoh defeated his closest rival, Simon Ogwu by 101 votes against 4 votes.
One of the Aspirants, Haruna Adah Sylvester stepped had stepped down for Mr. Braimoh, saying he believes in his outstanding leadership qualities.
The Election was conducted free and credible and it was monitored my security agencies and Representatives of Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
In his acceptance Speech, the AA Governorship Candidate thanked God, national and State leaderships of the party as well as supporters for the confidence reposed in him, assuring that he will not disappoint them.
According to him, his emergence is the beginning of a journey to wealth creation and happiness for the people of the State.
He pointed out that if voted into power he will use the resources of the state for wealth creation and distribution for the people.
Mr. Braimoh expressed optimism that with the support of Kogi people, he will deliver on the mandate given him.
