Frontline APC gubernatorial aspirant, Alhaji Jibrin Momoh has been cleared to contest in the upcoming primaries.
Recall that the Kogi gubernatorial primary will take place on 14th April, 2023.
Alhaji Momoh’s clearance led to a wiid jubilation across the state as party faithful, supporters, and youth/women groups, hijacked Kogi political space to express their satisfaction and readiness to work harmoniously with Jibrin Momoh at the party’s primary.
Sources revealed that rigorous consultations are already ongoing to ensure that Jibrin emerged victorious on April 14th.
Recall that not fewer than 19 individuals had shown interest in Kogi’s first citizen’ slot. But with the happenings and recent events, Jibrin Momoh appears to be more comfortable and positioned when it comes to getting the party’s ticket.
Sources within Momoh’s Campaign Organization said their principal is ready to slug it out with the rest of the aspirants and all indices point to him clinching the ticket.
