A retired Airforce Officer, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammed Obaje has been CORONATED as Ekpa Ata Igala.
At a well attended event at Idah last Thursday, the revered royal father gave gratitude to God for the opportunity to serve his people. He described his position as a call to selflessly render service and advise His Royal Majesty as one of his Royal Councillors.
In a remark, the Eje Ofu, Alhaji Aku Obaje appreciated the Ata Igala, His Royal Majesty, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa for providing a serene atmosphere for traditional rulers to operate in his domain and thanked all those who attended the ceremony.
A son of the celebrant, Prince Hassan Muhammed Obaje of ICPC Kaduna described his father as a humble person who has remained God fearing and disciplined all his life. He expressed gratitude to family members, friends and well wishers for the honour done to his father.
Highlight of the event was the procession to Idu Okoliko River where the Ekpa Ata dipped his feet into the River signifying better days ahead.
