The ongoing State Assembly Election is characterized by low voter turnout in some parts of Kogi State.
Unlike in the Presidential and National Assembly Election, materials and men of the electoral commission arrived polling units on time with the exercise commencing on schedule.
A visit to Kogi and Lokoja LGAs however saw poor voters turnout in many of the polling units visited by our correspondent.
Some of the voters attributed the low voter turnout to poor mobilization by the candidates and the experience they had in the presidential and National Assembly. election
