
Chachavivi Women and Girl Child Development Foundation and its partners have joined their voices with other community stakeholders towards building a world where differences and diversity is valued and celebrated.

The global call for a gender equal world, a world that is free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, equity and inclusiveness was reiterated by Chachavivi Women and Girl Child Development Foundation at the 2023 International Women’s Day Celebration.

The 2023 comemoration Of International Women’s Day Held In Kogi Central, was hosted by Osaragada Community In Adavi LGA Kogi State.

Commemorating the 2023 international women’s day with the theme: DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality, Chachavivi Women and Girl Child Development Foundation (CCWGDF) in partnership with Savannah Center for Democracy, Development and Diplomacy (SCDDD) commemorated the international women’s day with the grass roots women in Kogi Central Senatorial at Osaragada community, Adavi LGA of Kogi State.

The International Women’s Day Celebration activity is an annual event, with Chachavivi Women and Girls Foundation joining the Global call for advancing the productivity of women.

pointed out that together forging women’s equality and collectively embrace equity can be achieved.
The 2023 commemoration of the international women’s day, the CEO Chachavivi said is unique as the platform creates opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness of women.
She further said the day is set aside to enlighten women on the importance of the theme for this year 2023 which is innovation and technology for gender equality and how they can at their level adopt to global changes that will advance their lives positively.
Speaking further the CEO Chachavivi women and girl child Development foundation, Miss Halima called on Nigerians, corporate organizations and especially the Government to join hands with Chachavivi women and Girl Child development foundation to elevate the visibility of Women by creating opportunities for their development.
She called for the building of workplaces where women can thrive, by improving their knowledge to adapt to technology to fit into the present World.
She concluded by stating that the global space and call for advancement of women, including technology advancement needs to reach the grass roots for a better and more productive society.
Highlights of activities marking the international women day by Chachavivi women and girl child development foundation in partnership with Dangote, was sensitization of women and the campaign for gender equity and equality through innovation and Technology.
The CEO Chachavivi Women and Girls Foundation presented waste Bins to the community women at Akpata community in Lokoja Local Government to enable them adapt to positive environmental behaviors by proper waste disposal and environmental protection, while urging them to adopt technology and innovation to improve their day to day life.
