A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress from Ajaokuta LGA, Hon. Samson Fadeki has described Dr. Sanusi Ohiare, former Executive Director of Rural Electrification Agency as one Kogite passionately committed to a united Kogi State, reason why he would make a good Governor.
Hon. Fadaki made the disclosure while fielding questions from Newsmen in Lokoja ahead the forthcoming APC Governorship Primary’s, said with the vast majority of people still living in rural Communities in Kogi, what the State needs moving forward is to have a governor who is cut out for rural development, described Dr. Sanusi as best fit for the job.
While pointing out that Dr. Sanusi has remarkable legacies to show in rural development, with his exploits when he served as Executive Director of Rural Electrification Agency, urged the APC to look in his direction.
Hon. Fadaki pointed out that Dr. Sanusi has what is required to build a virile Kogi State from where all the people irrespective of the multi ethnic background of the State, would see themselves as one, improve infrastructure in rural areas, said the youth demography of the State are solidly behind his aspiration.
While pointing out that what Kogi State needs moving forward is a bridge builder like Gov. Yahaya Bello, one with capacity and character, disclosed that Dr. Sanusi has the combination of the qualities required to build a prosperous State where youths, women empowerment would be sustained using rural development.
Hon. Fadaki described the former REA Executive Director as very much prepared for the task ahead, said he has proven to be a servant leader who has washed his hands clean and come to equity.
Hon. Fadaki added that Dr. Sanusi remains one individual who has built bridges of friendship across the State, pointing out that his detribalized character trait and capacity to administer the State makes him the bride the APC should desire to fly the party’s ticket.
Aside having an impeccable records that remains untainted, Hon. Fadaki said having made remarkable contributions to the growth of the APC in the State, expressed optimism that he would deliver the much talked about infrastructure development to the State.
While pointing out that he will be championing a delegation of Youths in the State to the APC convention in the days ahead, he called on the Party delegates to harken to the call that would place the State on a sound pedestal of growth and development if Dr. Sanusi emerges the APC Flagbearer.
Hon. Fadaki expressed appreciation that with the deafening calls by the day across the State for Dr. Sanusi’s aspiration, expressed optimism that he will win owing to his selfless service, particularly that he has proven with his personal and professional life that he is a man who makes successes in every endeavour he finds himself.
An indigene of Adavi LGA, Dr. Sanusi according to Hon. Fadaki has been tried, tested, can be trusted, has his integrity intact, has related well with the people of the State across various divide in such a way that he has a broad spectrum of friends, remains what the State needs in 2023 after Gov. Yahaya Bello who he noted has done too well and needs a worthy successor.
