The New Renaissance Youth Group, a Political Pressure group, cutting across the nine Local Government Areas of Kogi East and members of the All Progressives Congress have asked Alhaji Jibrin Momoh, Kogi State Accountant General to join the Governorship race.
The group in a statement signed by Mike Ataligi Idakwo, President of the Group, described Alhaji Momoh as having what it takes to build on the achievements of Gov Yahaya Bello.
The Group described Alhaji Momoh as capable of continuing with the New Direction policy of the present administration, described him as loyalty personified.
While pledging to mobilize support for Alhaji Jibrin ahead the forthcoming primary of the APC, it added that added members of the group are statutory delegates in the would be conducted primary’s.
The Group described the sterling leadership qualities of Alhaji Jibrin as one usually possessed by natural and good leaders, added that his rich public service credentials places him in a better stead to win the APC primaries as well as win the forthcoming Governorship election.
