
The Kogi State Government has released names of over 1,000 successful candidates in the first phase of Teachers Recruitment Exercise. Those successful are to be recruited as Teachers in the State Secondary Schools.

In a press briefing by the Commissioner to announce the release of the first batch of Successful candidates, said the remaining successful candidates will have their names released soon.
Recalled that the State Government had conducted aptitude test for Teachers to be recruited in the State Secondary Schools.
The CBT interview for the prospective Teachers took place last year at the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
The Successful candidates at the CBT were subjected to oral Interview which held at the GYB Model Science Secondary School, Adankolo.
The Commissioner recalled that the very transparent process started with “Advertisement, Online application, Online shortlisting, Computer Based Tests, Oral Interviews for applicants who scored 40% and above”.
He said the State Government has now concluded the first phase of the process with over 1,000 coming into the system next week.
Candidates are expected to check their names under the subject they applied to teach.
He disclosed that an Orientation/Induction programme he explained is being organised for the successful candidates on Wednesday, 15th February, 2023 in Ayingba, Okene and Kabba. The programmes he mentioned will take place simultaneously.
Successful candidates he added are required to participate in the programme that will take place in their respective Senatorial Districts.
Employment letters will be picked up by the candidates directly during the Orientation programme, said there shall be no collection by proxy.
Other applicants he added are also encouraged to watch for additional information on this space, pointing out that this is just the first phase, with more names to be rolled out subsequently.
