The Kogi State Project Coordinator, Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project, ACReSAL, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto has been conferred with the “Outstanding Woman of Honour Award” in politics and leadership at the 2023 edition of the Kogi Social Media Awards.
Barr. Ladi was described by the Convener, KSMA2023,

as a personality powered by the drive to create impact, with the organisers of Kogi Social Media Awards explaining that the recipient of the award have collaborated effectively within and outside her organization to make a difference in leadership with the multiplier benefit now visible to Kogi State and Nigeria.
The organizers of the KSMA2023 disclosed that Barr. Ladi won the Award by scoring 600 votes, the highest public votes scored amongst other women nominees in recognition of her outstanding performances and achievements amongst selected women occupying top Executive positions in the State.
According to the organisers of the award, Barr. Ladi amongst the key milestones that distinguished her to win the award, established herself as a transformational leader, leveraging her passion and focus around people and development, geared towards transforming the environment and society that has translated to step up change improvement in the State, described her as a woman in the vanguard that has proven that it is not a men’s world.
The organizers of the KSMA2023 award described Barr. Ladi as an exemplary woman in leadership, described her as an Amazon of inestimable value, praised her for breaking gender barriers by top women executives in leadership position.
While pointing out that Barr. Ladi has proven to be a goal getter, a positive reference and a gain for women in leadership, said she has been strategic in planning, clinically efficient in service delivery, with an unprecedented impact in project execution while discharging her duty as Project Coordinator, NEWMAP and now ACReSAL.
The KSMA2023 described Barr. Ladi as a combination of beauty and brain, says Barr. Ladi has proven with her landmarks that she is poised to be a beacon of hope, an inspiration to young women in politics in Kogi–Nigeria’s contemporary politics, governance and in holding Executive position.
Speaking on the award held at Wisdom Event Hall in Lokoja on Saturday, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto dedicated the award to the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the enabling environment he created for the NEWMAP and ACReSAL to achieve the desired objectives.
While pointing out that the honour would spur her to do more, she advised women not to be limited by stereotypes, should strive to always make a difference in diligence and creativity in service delivery in what ever positions they find themselves.
Barr. Ladi urged women to use there numbers to support one another at all levels and position, advised women to be confidence, get the requisite qualifications to be able to stand out in the society.
