The forerunner and leading candidate for the State House of Assembly seat in Yagba West Local Government State Constituency, Yemisi Oshaloto, popularly known as ‘Erelu’ has called on the All Progressive Congress’ (APC) party faithfuls across the senatorial district, to come out in mass; as His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, is billed to arrive Kabba Town on Thursday, 2nd February, 2023 for the official flag-off of Presidential, National and State Assembly Campaign in Kogi West, at Kabba Township Stadium.
“The people’s Governor, our Governor, will be coming to Kabba on Thursday 2nd February. where would you rather be?” Oluyemisi asked Constituents.
She then went ahead to encourage every lover of the New Direction Government, either APC member or not, to be in attendance; as Kogi West is set to make history. She also used the opportunity to hammer on women and youth massive support and votes, in the forthcoming election, owning to the fact that for the first time in the history of Kogi West, Women are Candidates of a rulling party, and on the ballot to win.
Oluyemisi Oshaloto became unarguably popular and in high demand by constituents of Yagba West Local Government Area, after she clinged the Assembly ticket of the APC at the Primary Election. She has since then, enjoyed unhindered admirations and acceptance; as she canvases for support and votes of the electorates across the Local Government Area.
With her voice and massive grassroots mobilization strategies, the APC is guaranteed of victory in Yagba West State Constituency; as it has become a slogan in the locality that; “Yemisi ni, kosi elomiran” – meaning “It’s Yemisi or no other person.” Many believed that this natural admiration and endorsement from the people of Yagba West has sent shivers down the spine of other not-well-knowned Candidates hustling for the Assembly seat; as Oluyemisi cruise to victory, unhindered.
