The All Progressives Congress Flagbearer For Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon Sunday Karimi has joined Gov. Yahaya Bello to welcome President Mohammadu Buhari to Kogi State on the auspicious occasion of Commissioning of several legacy projects.
In a Statement issued to Newsmen which read in part: “Your Excellency Mr. President, l Heartily Join Gov. Bello, the People’s Governor, to welcome you to the Confluence State.
Your Excellency, Permit me State that we are proud to be associated with the leadership style of Gov. Yahaya Bello, whose administration has amidst scarce resources repositioned our dear state through unprecedented infrastructure development for enhanced socio economic development.
Your Excellency, it is on record that Kogi State since creation has never witnessed such infrastructure development like we are presently witnessing across the State.
As Your Excellency, Mr. President steps into Kogi tomorrow, permit me to State that dotting the landscape are Completed GYB Model Science Secondary Schools, World Class Health Facilities, The Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara and the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre.
Without mincing words Your Excellency, a visit to the Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba, Colleges of Education owned by the State, the Kabba, Ankpa, Ebano Ette Ogugu and several other erosion control sites that have all been completed across the State are eloquent testimonial that Gov. Bello has written his name in gold and for posterity.
It would also interest Mr. President to note that Gov. Yahaya Bello’s efforts in the road sector has witnessed massive construction of roads across the State. The newly constructed Ganaja flyover bridge, first of its kind in the State and the Embarkment of the River Niger from Kpata to Nataco speaks of the commitment of Gov. Bello to making life meaningful for citizens of the State.
Permit me Your Excellency, Mr. President to add that we the people of Kogi State have never had it so good like we are presently witnessing under the God sent administration of Gov Yahaya Bello with the completed Omi Rice, rural electrification projects, provision of potable water to the people across the State as landmark achievements.
Less I forget, the intervention of GYB in gully erosion, Ogugu, Ankpa, Ajiolo in Dekina LGA Your Excellency, Mr President are also other massive legacy projects completed by the GYB led administration that would capture your attention.
Let me assure Your Excellency, Mr President of our massive and total support all through your working visit to commission completed projects undertaken by the New Direction administration of His Excellency, Gov Yahaya Bello I. the State.
