As Christians in Kogi West Senatorial District join others around the world to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the All Progressives Congress Senatorial District Candidate, Hon. Sunday Karimi, has sent a message of felicitations to Christians in the district, with a call on them to be united in Love.
Karimi, in a statement, also urged Christians to use the festive occasion to pray for unity, peace and prosperity of the country, Kogi State in general.
He called on all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ which emphasises tolerance, patience, brotherly kindness, care for the needy and love for one another, among other virtues.
Hon. Karimi admonished all people of Kogi West to be their brother’s keepers and to shun vices that could jeopardise efforts of the government to provide conducive atmosphere for the citizens to realise their life’s objectives.
Hon. Karimi enjoined the citizens to continue to reflect on the positive tenets that unite the country and strengthen the polity.
” This period calls for introspection and continued prayers for our dear nation, State and Constituency. We must ponder on the teachings and lessons of Christmas by exhibiting good character at all times. We should also extend hands of fellowship and build blocks of unity and understanding, irrespective of our perceived differences, the the APC Flagbearer, he said.
