Christmas: Asiwaju Asiru Idris Advocates Love, Friendship and Peace


The Kogi State Commissioner For Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris has urged Nigerians to use this year’s Christmas to promote love, friendship, peace and reconciliation.

In his Christmas Message, Asiwaju Idris said the season exemplifies love, advising that Nigerians, particularly Kogites should always love one another.

In a statement issued to Newsmen, he particularly urged people of Kogi State people to use this year’s Christmas to erect platforms of love, peace and reconciliation for the greater development of the State.

The Commissioner advised the people to pray for the state and the government to enjoy greater peace in order to consolidate on its developmental programmes that have made the state first among equals.

He assured the people of the state that Gov. Yahaya Bello is resolved to remain focused in his delivery of pro-people projects and programmes to improve their standard of living.
