Kogi State Government have been called upon to sustain it’s efforts at providing more farm implements to rural farmers in the state.
The Onu Ochaja and Omachi Attah Mallam Yahaya Ibrahim made the call while speaking with News men today in Lokoja.
The traditional ruler said ministry of Agriculture through the state appeals programme have provided lots of farming implements to cashew famers in the state.
He Commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his political will at promoting farming activities pointing out that the Deputy Governor and the state coordinator of appeals programme have demonstrated capacity.
According to the royal Father a group known as cashew famers association was working diligently to form a group noting that the group will continue to work in synagy for massive quality cashew harvest in the state.
The Onu Ochaja and Omachi Attah Mallam Yahaya Ibrahim thanked the commissioner for his fatherly role in providing leadership to all farmers in the state.
