The flooding in Kogi State has claimed two casualties with two dead bodies recovered from the Ganaja River by divers.
As at time of the press swimmers have been on the search following the capsized of a boat yesterday that was ferrying people to Ajaokuta end of the road.

The Water from the River Niger had overflown from the River, crossed the Road, with people now having to resort to the use of canoe.

The boat mishap which happened yesterday night according to eye witness report had passengers crossing from Ganaja to the Ajaokuta end, unfortunately the boat could not take them to there destination with onlookers, like a film, watched helplessly, with no one to assist since it was in the night.
As at time of press efforts to confirm the story failed as the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Williams Ayah could not confirmed with the promised to reach the DPO covering the division, but Police men have come to evacuate the corpse.
