Dr Bolufemi Rotimi, a Kogi Governorship hopeful under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party; mourns the demise of the Maigari of Lokoja, *Dr. Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi lll*.
The Maigari died at the age of 80 on Wednesday 28th of September, 2022.
Dr, Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi lll was one of the longest serving traditional rulers in Kogi State who will be greatly missed. He was a selflessly determined individual who always made success a sure bet.
Bolufemi Said, the Monarch devoted his lifetime to the services of humanity and to the development of his community noting that the late monarch was a father for all and a true custodian of people’s culture.
Bolu sympathises with His Family, the people of Lokoja in particular, and Kogi State in general. He prayed that God will give all of them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss at this crucial time, that his administrative wisdom is very much required to foster political unity and to preach peace among the diverse political groupings in the State.
Dr. Bolu further prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed monarch, while asking God Almighty for a peaceful succession bid.
